In Basketball you dribble. When you stop dribbling you are allowed to take 2 more steps. After you have takes your 2 steps you can't move from your spot. You have to either pass it or shoot it. You can move around as long as there is one foot in touching the ground that doesn't move from it's spot. That foot is called your pivot foot. The other foot can move around. Skills are good for dribbling. You should also get used to dribbling with both hands.
Fouls are very annoying. Fouls can give the other team free throws or the ball. Defensive fouls is when you are defending someone and push them while they are dribbling, dunking, lay-up-ing or shooting. Another way of doing a defensive foul is to slap the person while they are shooting. Offensive fouls are when you charge into someone while dribbling. Fouls are bad. Severe fouls usually get 2 free throws. Normal fouls just give the ball to the other team.
These are some basic rules just incase you don't know. If you have any more questions you can use Google or you could go to a basketball player or a coach, maybe even a referee

Michael Jordan is the best player of the NBA.Just go check his monster dunks, shots, and lay-ups and even more. He was a star player. As probably you all know he retired. Michael Jordan is my all time favourite player. You should also buy the Jordans because they are amazing. Just like Kyrie's, and Curry's and Lebron's
In basketball there are different types of ways you can score point for your team.
You can make a two pointer from anywhere inside the 3-point line.
The 3-point shot can happen from anywhere from the court except from inside the 3-point line from the net you are supposed to shoot in.
And1's are when you shoot and get fouled but the ball still goes in the net.
When you do an And1, outside the 3-point line, that is a 3-pointer
A layup is when you run toward the net and score close to it. Here is a picture of someone doing it.
There are 5 different positions in Basketball. 1:Point Guard 2:Shooting Guard, 3:Small Forward, 4:Power Forward, 5: Center
